As part of the open-source TFEL project,MFront simplifies the implementation
of complex mechanical behaviours efficiently and portably across various finite element and
FFTsolvers. This paper highlights important new features introduced in TFEL/MFront Ver-
sions 5.0 and 5.1. It also outlines how the MFrontGenericInterfaceSupport project enables
straightforward integration of MFront behaviours into a range of open-source or commercial
solvers
