This paper introduces an efficient nonlinear domain decomposition approach for structural mechanics based on the SRASPEN method. By explicitly constructing the Jacobian, the method leverages classical linear preconditioners and Krylov subspace recycling to improve scalability and reduce computational cost. Numerical tests on a elasto-plastic beam show significant convergence gains over standard SRASPEN.
