In 2016, the CSMA association saw the creation of a section of young researchers section called CSMA Juniors. This section, targeted at CSMA members under the age of 40 (PhD students, post-docs, junior permanent staff) has various objectives linked to the strong dynamism of the CSMA association.

The elected members of the CSMA Juniors committee are: Cédric Bellis, John-Eric Dufour, Enora Denimal Goy, Fillipo Gatti, Aurélien Grolet, Christophe Hoareau, Paul Oumaziz, Auriane Platzer, Ronan Scanff.
CSMA junior aims in particular to:
- encourage exchanges and the creation of networks between young researchers
- promote the research activities of young researchers within CSMA and towards national authorities
- facilitate joint research actions
- enable the transfer of information to young researchers, linked to their future or current career
- propose useful and original scientific activities for young researchers
- help the CSMA association in its activities (decision-making, organization of conferences or mini-symposia with innovative formats, communication activities through newsletters or social networks, etc.).
